Sports injuries & arthritis
From recurrent tendon pain in a runner to established arthritis limiting daily walking, Mr Kunasingam always starts with the gentlest option that is likely to work — and only progresses to surgery when it is genuinely the right step for you.
What happens
Non-operative first
Targeted physiotherapy, orthoses, injection therapy and shockwave are used and reviewed properly before any operation is considered.
Reconstruction
Tendon repair and transfer with corrective osteotomy restores alignment in flat foot and cavus deformity, keeping joints mobile where possible.
Arthritis surgery
Where arthritis is established, arthroscopic debridement, joint-preserving procedures or fusion are used according to the joint involved and your goals.
